UO Second Age

So I killed an orc and it dropped a Longsword. That itself isnt so strange.
What is strange is that when you click on this longsword it has a name I have never seen before.
"Shemp's Blade"

Is this some kind of rare or something?

I wonder if Shemp is looking for his sword.
