Just wondering. I miss the midi and the old menu.

I installed off my original T2A cd's you have to patch up to 4.0 though because of the packet format changes.

I don't think the treasure chest was originally in my CD version or not, I think the patch may wipe it out.

In any case I would certainly recommend the UO Gold version over the ML version of the client if you are downloading it; The ML client had some new graphics for some of the old creatures that are horrible.

The server base maps are from client version 5.0.8.3, we recommend to stop patching before you reach version 6.0 as some of the map files are changed in later version although the changes are small. Any version later than 4.0 should work.

One of the latest client patches removes all the buildings in Magenica, so try not to go that far. We're working on a solution for people that are running the latest client.

I patched through 4 and used my old UO/T2A cd's I keep getting the message that the server requires 5 but I have not done that. Any reason to patch that far?

Hmm. I, personally, favor just saying what client range is supported and leave it at that. Trying to support every client would be a nightmare.
