Hail Fair Citizens of Britannia.

Friday September 17th, 2010 at 8 pm Eastern Time there will be a Dungeon Gauntlet Run hosted by the Kingdom of Ascalon. Gate from Britain Bank opens at 7:30PM Eastern. Registration closes at 8pm. Registrants are required to wear only a robe with only a Spellbook And Must Bring a 2500Gp Entry Fee.


You Will Be Gated To The Waiting Area Where You Will Pay 2500 Gold, Once Paid You Will Recieve Your Survival Bag and be Let Into The Dungeon Entering Room.

Winner will be the player that gets to the bottom of the dungeon in the shortest time. Players will be split into heats if necessary and timed. Each player will be given a pouch with a specific amount of reagents, band aids, fish steaks, and potions. Ghosts will monitor your progress and assure that no rules are broken. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest X completion times.
There Will Be Colored Barrels Along The Road Of The Dungeon Where Books With A Password Will Be 5 Passwords Will Be Throughout The Dungeon and When
You Get To The Bottom You Will Be Asked Those 5 Words.

Rules:
- No mounts or other pets
- Absolutely no use of items other than those provided to you. This means no Barding and no Looting.
- Stone Wall is allowed but other field spells, paralyzing another participant, and any damage causing spells are strictly prohibited.
- Competitors must be Blue.

Prizes:
1st Place: A Small House in desirable location
2nd Place: Magics Package
3rd
4th
and
5th place: Complete runebooks of the host dungeon.

you should have bodyguards escorting on horses to kill riff raff trying to disrupt the event

One thing I would suggest is not having separate heats. Everyone should have to succeed under the same circumstances... i.e. if someone casts an Energy Vortex that kills all of the players in heat 2, it's not that fair that everyone in heat 1 doesn't have to deal with that.

Everyone took a wrong turn right at the start haha. I gained enough time because of that to lure the balron over to the 3rd barrel muhaha.

The swastika room was insane, I had to choose 1 of 4 directions to get to the final barrel. The first choice (East room) was a bad one, nothing but gargoyles and daemons. The second choice was out of desperation and lack of places to go (nearly dieing to daemons), but a lucky move indeed. I found the final barrel in the West room, just as notorious was arriving on that level.

And thanks to Darkwing for heckling me as I was luring the balron, he told me to "loose" lol!
