what about house gating and recalling??????? i dont remember how it was i remember you could gate into your house don't remember about recall. also if you stole someone's house key you steal their house. you didn't have to lock down items in your house. how does the housing work on this shard?

House key opens doors to house, that's it. You can lock down items and boxes(boxe can be opened if only locked down) inside house. If you secure a container only co-owners, owner, and friends can access the container. Only owners can unsecure containers. You can gate FROM a house and recall FROM a house, but there is no way to mark a rune inside a house, thus no gating or recalling TO a house.

If someone manages to get your key and location of house, or you lose key you can change locks and get a new key. They can't deed your house if they get your key. All they can do is go inside if it's locked.

can you secure a chest outside a small house with the house key inside?

you can't secure any container or even lock down items on the front steps of your house.. only exception to this is large tower steps..

Is this recent?
I locked down 2 lanterns on my door step earlier this week. it was on the corners and not in front of the door though.
