UO Second Age

A Moderator named "Braden" banned my address for "No discussion about drugs, etc. (note your name)". I'm not sure when this came into play, or where this Gestapo came from, but I changed my name for IRC and my address is still banned from IRC.

In my state, "weed" or marijuana as we call it, is not illegal (for patients), nor a drug, and is considered medicine. I've had my name since "Tue Mar 25, 2008 1:08 pm" and Derrick has never had a problem with it, specially considering I've had many a conversation with him in private chats in the past and present.

Anyways... I changed my IRC name to reflect the new policies, so if someone could unban my address from IRC, that'd be great. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't suggest using the main channel for anything unless you want to 'chat' about UO. They ban for coughing in there.

Haha. I guess so if a player catches a ban that quickly. They should put timers on the bans, or at least give warnings. I guess thats what happens when Derrick wont let you create items on your Counselor char in game.

nope .. he was accusing Braden of setting his ban for his name .. i helped him out by letting him know the actual reason he was banned ... and by whom.

I apologize if no warning was given, this should have been done.
However, if i'm not mistaking you for someone else, you have been a member of this community and IRC for quite some time now and should be familiar with some of the most basic rules.

I'm the original weedsmoke, and when I used to play, irc had NO rules. Also, I love how Dagon's timestamp is like 20 minutes off between events

Thanks for the info on the ban, Maahes. Like I said, there never used to be rules in that chat room so if you guys came out with some type of rules then I'll find em and read em.
