Offering 2 Services for the time being (gotta love lockpicking gains):

Option 1:

Working with you to complete your level 1-4 t-maps. My fees are all gold/gems/regs both in chests and on spawn. All items (chests and spawn) are yours.

Option 2:

For the player that is tired of having tmaps take up space, and only really wants the level 5 maps, hand them all over to me. I can use my lack of skill to verify which maps are level 5 (SysMessage: ...no chance of decoding...). For the level 1-4 maps that I am able to decode, you can either take me up on Option 1, or simply allow me to keep them since they will be of no further use to you.


If you are interested, please send me a PM via the forums. I monitor my email while online, so if I am on, I will respond within a few minutes. My availability is usually between the hours of 4am-9am EST Monday through Friday (through server restart); and 11pm-9am Saturday and Sunday.

Unfortunately, for the time being I will be limited to my bank box for storage, so I don't have much room to hold magic items...

A level 4 chest has about 4k gold, that plus the gems (gold) and regs are the only things I have room to store. I don't think anyone would argue that the real value in a tmap is in the items, which I don't have a whole lot of interest in at this time.

I think you clearly missing the loot from the mobs there, if you really go through all the mobs there, you can make easily 10k in gold only from a lvl 4 and some good t hunter would give you a more accurate figure on that

I have a vendor selling tmaps at yew bank mall, they all sell within 24hrs
selling random tmaps 2 to 5 for 7500gp
and when i looted it myself, i can put a real price on it
15k for lvl5
9k for lvl 4
etc

looting all the monsters, selling all the gems and dud weapons/scrolls/clothing, you can make about 15k gold from a lv4 np

Yep. And if you hit on a high-end hally or fencing weapon it's a lot more. MR items are worth a lot too.

...and at the same time I can easily make 15-20k an hour without a tmap. Although the solo play gets a bit old, figured I could offer a service, help someone else out, and still manage to earn something for myself at the same time.

Not looking for any hand outs here, and definitely not running any scams. Believe it or not, there are players on this server that have maps cluttering up their storage and without a t-hunter of their own, they are more than happy to have someone help them out with them.

What I'm offering is the chance for someone to take an item they can't do anything with (tmap), have me decode it, and tag along to clean items out of a chest... how can this be a bad deal? True, they could sell the map, and maybe other players do buy higher end maps, but I myself won't buy a tmap off a vendor for more than a few hundred gold because there is no way to know in advance what level the map is.

you are perfectly right, i am sure some people need a t hunter to make high levels tmaps... try to make your char able to make the lvl 5 tmaps, that will be even more interesting

Thanks bro, working on that but at the rate I'm pregressing it'll be another month at least.

Er... not to add competition to myself and other GM Cartographers, but you can GM cart off of just copying maps, right? It's not a difficulty-based skill.

Yessir... just takes time and a ton of maps...

but i think you raise faster from decoding lvl 4 maps no ???

Yeah, cart isn't bad. Lockpicking on the other hand is ridiculously difficult.
