Watch this video of some hard-core UO fans watching a preview of the new UO: High Seas expansion.

Watch from 45 seconds onwards and listen to the calls being made. Pay attention not only to the content but the delivery of these calls.
They make me cringe.
I suggest we all make a vow never to turn into these people.

I see what you are saying chumbucket, but perhaps you will find the time to read the passage below. It is a metaphor. Don't stereotype UO players... it's the nerds who ruin it for everyone else.
"Yay Orcs!" nightshark jubilantly cried.
He looked around the crowded, musty, poorly lit room. It was as if nobody had heard his exceedingly humourous comment.
"YAY ORCS!" nightshark repeated, a little louder this time so everyone could hear - smiling and anticipating the acceptance of his "friends".
As if out of nowhere, Mens Rea's open palm swung violently and meaningfully at the side of nightshark's head and connected with it. The noise drew everybodies attention, including the nerd giving the presentation.
"Shut up you stupid nerd. We're here to watch and play the game, not listen to your pathetic comments you virgin." Mens Rea informed nightshark, and the room. The rest of the room agreed with Mens Rea.

We are all just like these people otherwise we would not be playing this ancient game.
Were like the guys sitting around playing mario on regular Nintendo while everyone else is playing on there 360's and ps3's

Wait, why were you watching this Trammel-y BS in the first place? Sure, the graphics are pretty, but REAL UO died in the late 90s, so "new" UO is not worth anyone's time....especially not 5 minutes of it.

Agreed Faust.. I logged into a friends OSI account about a year ago and was like... wtf is up with the bag?
It really was the last straw in hundreds of things they did you really destory the game. I would have been happier to see them just make a completely new Uo2.0 and put all this WoW style crap in that game and leave the original UO alone.
One can only dream!!

That is something that has made UO unique compared to the other MMO's out there with all the small details in my opinion. For example, the bags/containers actually place the item pretty much exactly where you put it instead of some stupid little imaginary excel spreadsheet bag/container. The same goes for items being tossed on the ground, placing houses, etc... all little things that are still not being done in games today. I'm just stunned that a ten year old game at times has more advanced features than games being released to this very day. EA wanted to take the same direction of the other games(EQ/WoW) and that is exactly where it stands, minus the cash flow these other games brought/bring in.
