For a lot of people, 25k an hour to do something largely risk-free is more than they can otherwise make. I've seen tons of 7xGM players casting EV on the Blood Elemental, and then just sitting there (with a few e-bolts mixed in) until it's dead. They can't be making more than 25k an hour.

Which is why you have to PAY to make it worth their while...else they could be making a tamer for themselves.

I think we disagree on economics. Or social psychology. Either way, the more that I think about it, you can't really assign an hourly rate to it since one can macro certain portions of it pretty easily.

If you want to do it for nothing, then have at it...I merely gave my opinion...and find my time worth a lot more than 100k.

I have done a GM Lockpicker.

I would imagine that Taming is harder, but which takes longer?

I swear from 98-100 it was ridiculous. I would "hope" to get a .1 gain per day (per maybe 1 hour of circling the runebook) ... so it really was at least 6-7 weeks worth of work.
