those actually seem to have pretty consistent dmg... ill give 12500. obv not your 20k... but, if you dont wanna just do that 10k

Consistent damage is BAD. You want inconsistent damage.

How many times do you hear someone say, "He hit me with a perfectly average hally hit to kill me"? Never. You always hear "He hit me with a hally hit for 50+ and I was dead". Some of that is people whining, but some of it is truth. I would gladly take a weapon that randomly hit for 24 half the time and 48 half the time, over one that hit for 36 every time.

That said, a large battle axe is actually one of the more inconsistent weapons, using only two dice in it's damage rolls. So that is a good thing. But on the other hand, since this thread has some opinions in it already, I'll say this is is probably the worst axe (well, tied with "battle axe") in my opinion. The faster axes will do more damage over time against high-AR monsters (~1%) and will also do more damage against lower-end monsters (~11%).

I don't see the consistency in your post. You talk about how you want a inconsistent weapon, and say that this weapon is a two dice roll for damage and that's a good thing.....then you say this is probably the worse axe because faster axes will do more damage over time and against high AR monster, and more against low-end monsters. Wouldn't faster axes that do more DOT be considered consistent?
