What:
Downstairs: Dart competition! Small stakes wagers are encouraged between patrons
Booze! The bar will be stocked and ready for drinking. Cups will be provided, but we may run out so it would be prudent to bring one along.
Fireside chat! Enjoy a seat by the fireplace with a friend in order to shoot the breeze.
Upstairs: Lottery vendors! Small stakes vendor offering cash prizes, large stakes vendor offering a small house deed.
There will be prizes in each of the large stake containers!
Boardgames! Checkers, backgammon and dice cups between players, or try your luck against the house for larger bets.
And finally... the unveiling of our new game... MAGE POKER!
Four mages will buy-in using one of our handy vendors. Bets will be placed, and each mage will cast the summon creature spell. Once we see what animals have beens summoned, players will have the chance to raise their bets or draw again (dispel and resummon). After this round of betting, the players will flag grey, and have their critters attack the other critters. The last animal alive is declared the winner of that round, and the player that summoned it wins the pot.
Prizes for poker: 1st prize= 75% of the pot (30k cash) 2nd prize= 25% of the pot (10k). There may be door prizes awarded for 3rd and 4th place.

Guidelines for proper Hangman behavior..
1. This is a tavern, and as such you are to expect pickpockets.
2. Please, no attacking other patrons UNLESS they have stolen from you (thieves may be killed.. but only once they've been caught committing a crime)
3. The above rule does not guarantee your safety..the grounds outside of the doors may be ripe for an ambush by bandits hoping to prey upon the drunk and gold-heavy patrons.
4. Please do not disrupt the games being played (this includes killing those who are flagged grey for playing mage poker).
Consequences: I'm very tolerant of other play-styles.. the only way to be banned from the Hangman is to break rules #2 and #4. Thievery and banditry are expected. It livens up the joint.
Also... please arrive for the event ON FOOT. I would hate for my patrons to have their mounts killed or stolen during this event.
