UO Second Age

Hi there. So I've been playing on this shard pretty much lag free for almost a year but recently it's been quite choppy for me consistently. I wonder if this is my issue or the shard's?

I've recently reinstalled everything (razor, the client) if that makes a difference. But from what I can tell, I think other people are running fine... hmm. My internet connections seems fine (fast downloads, normal web surfing).

I have been. But didn't really know if it was the server or just me. Figured it was just me since no one else was mentioning/complaining. But, since a thread has been started, I'll add myself to the 'me too' list.

Our computer reports no sign of this "lag" of which you speak. Your primitive technologies may be at fault.

I have sensed no temperal distortions in this quadrant.

Warp drives are running strong here, have you tried running a traceroute to the server to investigate any potential problems?

I've had some trouble on and off, I blame it on my connection, since it has not been consistent. Sometimes I lag terribly, and sometimes my ping is great.

For me, today has been particularly choppy; it's been off-and-on the last week or so.

I can confirm some era-accuracy: the lag-spike digs in at exactly the same moment as a murderer recalls into the spawn ...
