why would either party not want to show how much was paid for this item?

this would not only help the rest of the shard because people would get an idea of what items are going for and because this mysterious person doesnt want there name shown it would have no ties to them...

so I repeat, why not disclose the price?

Maybe he's not interested in helping the shard?

Revealing a price on a fairly "rare" item like this isn't the smartest idea for a person if they plan to resell in the near future.

While this item isn't exactly the most rare thing floating around...it's pretty darn hard to find a fully blessed suit of Phoenix Armor...at least one willing to be sold.

If he told us all it sold for 5 gold, and the seller tried to later sell this for 7 gold, everyone would cry and cite this sale as reference for why it should be sold cheaper.

The buyer asked me to keep his name confidential. The true rare holders/sellers know sometimes this is just the way things work for bigger ticket items. Most of the uosa population wouldn't understand.

Nice try dip shit, I have had my phoenix armour for over 6 months. I got mine from hologen, and I do not have a full set, I am missing arms, but I have 2 chest pieces.
