I think I've seen a discussion somewhere on the forum about that but not sure.

Anyway: is resisting spell really worth it around here?

depends what your character type is and how you want to play it. if you want to pvp or if you plan on getting attacked at any point then resist is definitely worth it.

if you have magery and want to use it frequently i would also consider wrestling since it gives you the weaponskill evade bonus without needing a weapon in your hand. obviously if you're a warrior and you're going to have a weapon equiped most of the time, then wrestling is unnecessary since the weaponskill of your choice will give you the same evade bonus (provided you have the weapon equiped).

Short answer -

For PvM: You can pass on it.
For PvP: Must-have.

yes you need it with all the pks now-a-days. cost a ton to macro though. good luck
