START TRAINING YOUR HERDERS
A shepherd tournament -
This will be a contest to once and for all determine the greatest shepherd of UOSA.
There is no entry fee. Crooks will not be provided. This is not for amateurs.
The event will take place in the brand new state of the art, UoH constructed, one of a kind, Shepherd stadium.
The game -
4 shepherds will go in heats at the same time.
They will each have a fenced in area called their pen.
There will be an assortment of wild animals wandering free in the stadium.
The goal is to get as many animals into your pen using herding as you can until all animals are in the pens or time runs out.
Some animals are worth more than others.
Some animals may be aggressive to the other animals. Im not really sure what will happen with that many animals in an enclosed space.
After all animals are in the pens the score will tabulated to find the winners, who will move on.
Rules - Ignoring a referee results in immediate disqualification. Breaking the rules is immediate DQ.
No attacking the animals or the other players.
You can only use herding to move the animals.
If an animal leaves a pen on its own it is fair game.
No mounting any of the animals.
No taming the animals!
If an animal is injured you can heal it using veterinary skills only.
You can feed the animals but do not pet them. There has been ecol i issues.
You are freely allowed to steal other players pets
No magery
No enticement
No provocation
Scoring -
a dog is worth 1 point
a cat is worth 2 points
a sheep is worth 3 points
a red sheep is worth 5 points
the secret golden animal is worth 10 points
Location - UoH Shepherd Stadium
Time - TBA
(if you are not the first four you can be late, but not by much)
Prizes - BIG TIME STUFF! (depending on participation)
If you are willing to donate towards a prize contact me via pm or irc or in game.
There will be a custom made spectator 'zone'
if you wish to spectate you must come as a ghost and be rezzed on site.
The custom zone is for willing cooperative spectators only.
