Top of castles/keeps

I can't recall, but what method was used to get to the top of the towers in castles/keeps?

Being able to 'bug' my way up there or otherwise is going to be the main difference between getting a tower or a keep (don't like castles).

I think it may have somthing to do with the use of the old 'target a tile, then teleport to last target while standing right under it'. But that doesn't work here.

If you were friended to a house, in the old days, you could log out and then get another character to place a solid item (box, chest, table, etc) where you were logged. You had to do this on the levels underneath and above the square where you logged.

When you logged in, you would be in the same location but on a different Y axis position (where there were no boxes, therefore on the roof, etc.)

Doesn't work on here though.

I remember casting energy field, then logging out, and log back in. Hasn't worked here though.

Man that's hilarious that there was all sorts of ways to bypass things and get into houses/whatever.

I perfomed this trick by floating a wooden chest, alt+f4ing my client, and when I logged back on, I would be above or below where I origonally was.
