They do, I'd say worth very close to 0...unless it is labeled "a crystal ball", I believe those are rare.

If you double click it it's the ask and answer crystal ball. Those are a spawnable rare.

Ah, ask and answer ball, don't throw it away just yet...not sure how much it's worth, but it is a rare then.
EDIT: Very important not to confuse it with a singing ball, which is a whole other matter.
