Champ spawn event.

Give us a arena server like you do the pvp type ones and throw us a barraccoon spawn. Allow anyone in for a short period of time and allow pking and loss.

Trophies given to the people who work together and actually finish the event, nothing given to the people that pk. Trophies placed in bank at end of the event.

* This would put tons of people together for the pvp crowd AND give people a chance to do something as a team that doesn't take all day for little reward (such as the current system). The people in the current outdoor events who do the most work, rarely get anything. Luck of the drop is no way to reward time and effort.

Didn't everyone get something at Blackfoot's elf event?

I like this idea. Enable paladin skills and etheral mounts for it too.

No to spawning of Barracoon or any of those champs, a special server, and opening up chivalry and such. Does the Dungeon Khaldun exist here and it is just not accessible? As a GM couldn't Derrick or someone else modify a monster that exists into a type of champ? I know I saw a Father of the Dammed pop up at an event awhile back, he could probably modify that one into something a little more powerful.

Sounds like you want a monster bash honestly

True. But isn't that what a Champ Spawn is also? Just kind of a special monster bash?

What is a champ spawn?

Couldn't this be monster bash with looting? I would love that.

I've often wondered why these don't occasionally appear as events. Yes, they aren't accurate, but, as events, nothing is accurate unless we start looking up old OSI events and copying them.

nothing given to people who pk? pks were a huge part of champ spawns on osi.

one of the best things about them was that you could get pked right at the end and lose your prize to somebody who killed you. if you want to emulate champ spawns without fear of pks (ie. in a closed arena, no prizes to people who don't 'work together' and prizes go straight in bank) then you literally might as well do it in trammel.

I just thought it would be a good trade off since you could pk and then loot. I mean, if you are attacked it would be a different story to defend yourself, but flagging on another person would be different etc..

PK would be there to kill so he gets what he wants, farmer wants rewards but doesn't care to pk unless he's forced to fight back so he gets what he wants.

It's win win but with different kinds of prizes.

It's hard enough for pks to hit massive groups of blues anyways, they're going to get ganked everytime. Why remove any possible reward for their risk? As marm said you might as well do the event in trammel.
