UO Second Age

Hey everyone,

Just getting started on the server and I have a couple questions - I know they should be common knowledge but I haven't been able to find them digging around anywhere.

Could someone please explain to me the "Show Real" skill system? I am just curious as to how it all works and why there is even a distinction.

Do secondary skills (i.e. Arms Lore) on a Blacksmith increase chances of exceptional items?
Also, does colored ore do anything special or is it just for aesthetics?

Are era bugs like duping implemented here? I read that era specific bugs are included in the game but I'm not sure if I'm interested on playing on a shard that allows duping.

Does hunger affect skill/stat gain at all? Does it affect crafting (i.e. chances of making exceptional items)?

Finally, are runebooks blessed?

- Show real, gives your your actual skill level. Not sure why they have it this way.

- Pretty sure it doesn't affect exceptional chance. Think different ore has different AR.

- I don't agree with the duping thing either, and some bugs are in from this era.

- Not sure about crafting, but I hear that it helps with skill/stat gain.
