Why do I lose Karma when I heal a guild mate?

I noticed while sparring in my home, that when I healed my guild mate (green to me), I lost karma!

I noticed it several times today 1-3-11, not sure if it was everytime, but I switched to healing myself (on both chars), instead of healing each other (less delay in skill use)

Why does this happen? I SHOULD be able to heal my guildmates without a penalty! My guy is now labeled as "Rude"

Anyone else notice this?

Your guildmate has negative karma. Helpful actions on a player with negative karma will reduce your karma as well.

I think that is wrong. Helpful actions on any negative karma should not take karma if I am not mistaken.

Casting beneficial spells on others can only result in gaining karma, never a loss of karma.
...
The healing and veterinary skills now have the same karma effects as the healing spell.

Post in bug reports. This was fixed for healing murderers a while back.
