The first event can be found here
This time things are going to run a little bit differently.
I realize that not everyone is in need of ingots or blacksmithing goods,
and so, I will be awarding cash payments for items delivered.
Here is the basic idea:
You bring me a bag with no less than 40 magical items, it must be a bag!
I will collect the bag of said junk for processing.
Within one week I will turn over payment for the items.
Payment is based on a value that assign to each item.
The payment will be fair, and the I reserve the right to change the rates at any time.
I predict to return payment sooner, but I am allowing myself 7 days in case of work/emergency etc.
At the end of the acceptance period (TBD), I will award a prize for the individual(s) who have the most points.
I will use my own formula standard formula to calculate points and gold for all items entered.
I am sorry but I cannot accept returns. If for some reason I cannot calculate your bag, or a hurricane wipes out my bank account and/or internet access and I can no longer pay, I will simply return your bag(s).
Q. Where do I turn in my items for collection?
A. Contact me on IRC and we can discuss the best time. I will be setting up a location to drop off these items in the next day or two, but will gladly take drop-offs before that time.
Q. Will you take any item?
A. No, it must be a magical item. That is, jewelry, clothing, weapons, no exceptions.
Q. Can I still turn items in for ingots like the last time?
A. No, it's just easier for me to use one currency. But you can take that gold right over to <advertise your vendor here> and purchase some ingots.
Q. What happens if there are other items in the bag?
A. I will either reject it, or keep it and toss them out myself. You will not receive payment for any items not fitting the description.
Q. What happens if I lose my bag on the way to the donation site?
A. I will not in any way attempt to, or plot to, take the bag. However, I am not responsible for what other players may do.
Q. What if YOU lose my bag(s)?
A. You will still receive payment for bags that have been tallied, and for bags that have not yet been counted, I will issue you the average bag price at the time of the loss. But realistically, nobody is going to loot me.
Q. <Kabal> But why on earth would anyone want to buy garbage weapons such as a substantial kryss?
A. Why wouldn't they?
Q. Why are you doing this?
A. I am doing this as a service to the shard.
Q. Will there be a reward this time around?
A. Yes there will. I need to determine how many participants are going to drop off goods before I finalize a reward for the top contenders.
Q. How do I know how many points an item is worth?
A. The process of elimination I suppose.
Q. <BlackFoot>is this an event?
Why yes it is, just like the last time.

Currently, the average payout per item is 39.2 gp each. I pay out based on the need for each item you submit, this is typically somewhat proportional to the weight of the items. For instance, a magic plate tunic may be 160gp each, but a magical t shirt might be 5gp.
"?" denotes uncounted items
"*" denotes unpaid
That's it. If you have any questions or comments please send me a PM. Positive feedback is welcome, all else (including random discussion as I see fit) will be deleted by the sections moderator.
