wear ringmail pieces start with 12 AR and try to end up at around 15-16 near GM...

just the AR you get from it, 85ish is around where you max out with no armor. if you can get 8-12 ar (dont use magic, I believe its based on base ar for the armor type) and itll start to slowly climb to gm

Go to the guides section or the UOSA T2A Wiki.

It will explain that you cannot pass 84ish without Armor. The guides and wiki will give guidelines on how much AR to have when working towards GM.

I just bought a full set of studded armor from an NPC and added more pieces to my body as I moved up. Eventually wearing a full suit in the high 90s towards GM.

personally i just put on 18 AR when i get to around 80, so i dont need to attend the macro and add AR as i go. it will take you all the way to gm and doesnt take too long

It's no wonder you guys are always complaining about how slow the skill is.

not many uo players use polynomial equations to optimize their skill gain
