Serious Computer Problems (this is NOT my week)

BLUE SCREEN OF DDDDEEEEAAAATTTTTHHHHH!!!!!!

Well, my computer crashed.

My friend says he can fix it, though. I'm taking it to him on Thursday, and he says it might take him 3 days to fix it. If all goes accordingly, I should be back online by Monday.

I am on my neighbor's computer, right now. He said I could DL UOSA onto his computer, but his internet signal is worse than mine. Anyone who has ever hunted with me is shuddering right now.

I have PMed Yoda to see if he can put the event on hold, and keep it at it's current stage, until Monday, so I can try to get my computer up and running without missing anything. I'm still waiting for a response.

I might go to Rent-A-Center, or something like that, to rent a laptop until mine gets fixed. Not sure if I can, though.

Anyhoo, my boats, houses, and vendors should be good until I come back.

I will still be on the forums and IRC, since I can do these on my phone.

Good luck broskie, PC problems are the worst. If all else fails, though, just reformat and start from scratch. That's why I have separate PC's for separate purposes. I game on one, I do media on another, and I have a laptop I use strictly for work. That way if something happens to one I'm not losing my entire life in one shot and reformatting isn't even given a second thought if it comes to that. Keeping an external HD on hand to keep things backed up is a good idea too.

I got news on my computer. The hard drive is fried. If that was the only problem, Id just replace it and go. Unfortunately, its not.

I have therefore decided not to fix it. I'll be buying a new computer in the coming week.

If anyone thinks you might be friended to any of the smalls around my L, please try to refresh them.

Pirul, if you didn't refresh the Tardis II the other day, will you do so please. Also keep an eye on the abandoned bldg. I cant remember the last time it was refreshed

The key to the Vigilance is in the secure bag in the GH. Anyone please refresh that.

I refreshed the Tardis II the other night. I should have at least one char friended to the abandoned blding, I'll refresh that one tonight, as well as make a round in N$C.

...It's what you can't see in the picture that says the most.

The wheel in the pic is laying at an angle. I didn't see the underside of the car, myself, but I saw the looks on peoples faces after they looked. That told me everything.

To get from the point of impact to that spot, my car skidded about 200 ft, over a center divider and TWO curbs.
