Uneven land housing

Hello all. I'm new to the shard. I played until UO:R . I made my way to occlo last night and it felt so completely barren. I remember there being alot of houses there. I found some topics on it, but they were from 2009 or early 1010.
Any chance we will see the old uneven land housing again? It really made it interesting back then. I remember trying all kinds of tricks to get houses to place. : )

Yea improperly placed houses are definately era accurate, it's been brought up before by a couple of us- Not sure what the end decision was though.

Improperly placed houses were very easy to exploit and loot dry. They were placed by a bug that is now fixed.
Do you really want to buy a house that has been placed like that only to have the person who sold it to you rip you off? Not worth it.

Yes there are various NEA restrictions on house placement that last I heard were pending correction.
