What NPC Buys Small Crates?

The Wiki states that small crates are sellable to NPC vendors, so i whent to a few Carpentry shops and tryed to sell to vendor but no npc was intrested in my small crates?? Also tryed the provisioners with no luck?? Any suggestions would be faboulous.

You need to make sure the container is empty. Maybe you have keys in the crate that need to be sold to a tinker's shop first.
