Unfortunately, UO does not follow normal siege mentality. Since exterior doors can not be picked or broken down, and interior doors don't lock, this is nothing more than window dressing.
Interior door locking - fact or fiction?

I couldn't find any date on that page, it most likely was true pre-t2a. But not for our time frame.

Interior lockable doors will exist. Use of a house key on a door will allow you to rekey that door and will generate a new key for it.

I think they are just saying that from the inside you should be able to open the secondary front door outward, and the front door outward. This is actually how it used to work on UOSA, and probably the way it is supposed to work (if it does not already function in this manner).

I think thats a stretch. I believe the original housing system didn't allow interior doors to be locked, which fits their description exactly - just seems to be excessively outdated info considering its been over a decade since it was true.
