Why we need 1 account per IP

I've said it before, but this is proof that we need to limit players to 1 account per IP.....
Before we worry about smashing hard earned in game items, that have no effect on gameplay or the game world in which we play in.
What do you think UOSA, and staff.... ?
The tamer, is the same person as the guy in the grey robe...

There is 40 dragons on that tile, all of them aren't moving or spreading out...

you would have to do an entire shard wipe to enforce a new limit on accounts. How would this be remotely fair to new players who would be joining? We all had the luxery of 3 accounts. Only fair way is to wipe and then limit it to 1 account.

I totally agree, but lots of work would go into making a account creation system that is almost foolproof and then a approval process to go along with it. Also I live in a house with two others that play, do I need to submit photographic proof of this or just will my written word do? What system will go in place to make more than one account per IP feasible? With the amount of staff around how can they police this to make sure people are not abusing the system? I wish we could make a system work to make this possible but I feel like it would be to late to implement now, and extremely troublesome for the current staff. This being said a healthy discussion on how to accomplish this could never hurt.

Thats the one of the previous "omg the shard is gunna die if you don't do what I say" posts of gorilla's. For those who are new, Anthrax was his old persona.
Anyways, even if this was a good idea - which its not, its way too late to do it.
This isn't even a big deal, theres much better arguments against more than 1 account per person. Theres virtually no advantage here over 1 account anyways. You could easily do the same thing with a single char. You don't even need to hide it, the dragons will still insta kill anything that targets you. The dudes doing it the hard way.

I dont get it. Whats this guy doing that he couldn't be doing with one account?
Wouldn't it be easier if he had one account macroing "all guard me" ??
EDIT: Should have just gated his entire flock of dragons out if he was doing such a terrible thing.

yeah, cuz at least i'd be able to move the footstool

and actually, the dragons would crush the footstool once they move

you can kill the hider..
Well, maybe YOU can't, but I coulda. Srsly gorilla, instead of complaining about it just muck it up for the dude. The drags were guarding the tamer not the hider.

This topic beats the dead horse.
I do AGREE however, that 1 account would solve much of problem regarding such behavior here on this shard, but I feel the loss of players wouldn't be worth the wipe.

I've a novel idea...
How about you can keep your three account, but only one can establish a server session at any one time. You'd basically have 15 character slots, but you'd need to log out to access them as if they were all on one account.
I wouldn't think that would be too dreadful to program for, and may be able to be controlled within a firewall or using some other network protocol higher up on the OSI model than the application layer.
