Well I just think that deadly poison is much strong for everyone be able to use that just because they have a poisoner char...
I think only the char that have the poison skill should be able to aply the deadly poison on an enemy
a Player with 0% of poisoning skill should just apply a lesser poison, even with an weapon poisoned by other char
a mage cast spells and then just hit once with a hally and apply a deadly poison, that sux...
im a dexxer and I need the skill to keep applying it during the fight, thats the only way to kill someone without using spells, so I only have more 6 skills to use but a mage that have 7 skills will do the same with a simple dped hally

carry more than one poiosoned weapon i think is good solution to problem
i run into pvpers carrying poison more often now, jsut need to make sure you are equally equiped

then just hit once with a hally and apply a deadly poison

Pretty sure Hally's can't be DP's. At any rate this is how it was then, I wouldn't expect it to be any different Here. The playing field is equal if you make it so.

I do really like "some" of the changes that went into the game after T2A, but unfortunately we can't be selective and do things like that because then you use the "pureness" of this era and you will have people moaning and complaining for changes they "like"/"want" and things will go to hell in a hand basket. You gotta take the good with the bad and make the best of it. I've tried lots of those "custom" type shards w/ those changes and I can tell you that NONE of them have the player base and active PvP that is fun that this one does.

I only play a dexxer for PvP right now and yes it is very hard and mages have it much easier, but it is possible.

poisoning = crafting skill in t2a

if only poisoners could use their poisoned weps then a DP'd hally wouldn't be worth 1600gp..
and poisoning would no longer be a crafting skill.. it would be a PVP skill, which is UO:R era.

I love my DP'd hally's and can't imagine anyone who uses them would feel differently.

i think poisoning on a character cn be used for pvp, just because of the efficiency of it.
i personally find it a pain in the arse trying to poison weps for my other chars and that extra organizing etc, i will occasionally.

with poisoning on a pvp class and a half a dozen poison pots you will never run out...

i'm not saying only crafter should have poisoning..
the best dexer i knew on catskills named Lord Zazzam had both alchy and poisoning.. along with the 5 dexer skills (fencing was his wep skill) and he was roxing!

My brother was the same way. During fights he'd be grinding out potions, lol.

With 15 characters and 3 accounts, everyone will have a poisoner pretty soon and lately it's been seeming like that. Majority of fielders are running around with dp hallys, PvP on this shard has been on a steady slope downward for a long time now.

Maybe first account should be free and the 2nd account should be given after you donate. Lol. Granted, that goes against the whole donation rules put in place.

I agree though, ive never been a fan of so many accounts. It is T2A accurate for SOME people but not all. The majority who played T2A could not afford or did not want/use multiple accounts. If anything, forcing the expenditure of money to have multiple accounts would be T2A accurate. Heh.

I haven't done any field fighting yet, but if this is true it is due to the mistakes that Origin did and never fixed during the T2A era. They fixed and improved the game as it continued on, but they also screwed it up as they went on as well. I still think that poison should be based on the skill in poisoning... not just because you carry around a DP weapon. That's just me though.

I don't see this as a problem since a poison weapon only holds 3 charges. If you want to carry a dozen weapons than that is the risk someone takes upon death. This is how it was back then and it didn't change until UOR.

I'm pretty sure it can hold more than that.

Gold on this shard comes easy, majority of the pvpers can afford tons of weps. I've seen many runnign around with DP hallys and FS precasted. Yay!
