UO Second Age

I'm assuming since my guild got teleported out of Bucs Den during event tonight that camping bucs den is not a legitimate practice? If this is new rule led everyone know so it don't happen anymore. And while your at it, teleport pk's out of ice dungeon so i'm not bothered by them while my bard farms the ice demons . k thanks.

While I don't particularly enjoy getting ganked on my statloss pk after i leave an event, i don't think that should lead the orcs to be teled away from bucs den. At the end of the day theyre role playing orcs and tactics like these is what orcs do. makes it more exciting to goto bucs after an event, knowing there may be 10 hidden orcs there waiting to jump you. Anyway to all the pks etc out there, just get a second char to ghost the area and then goto bucs when the coast is clear or the orcs are distracted, thats how i did it :/

I don't think we (the Bloodrock) should camp a single gate like we did the one night. However, if the return spawn is randomized I think its fair game

I can agree with that! I don't think we should either not the exact spot. But! Bucs as a whole is open game. Maybe the pk's will band together instead of being individuals! We'll make bucs the after party!!

well im freinds with the orcs and some of the reds. well it weas said before by Derrick on another post i cannt find at the moment but it went something like this
YOU CAN RECALL FROM EVENTS, except a couple of them you can not because there in t2a.
well i dont think the orcs should be teleported out! but the pks should be prepared as well as i am when im farming. theres bank access in events theres no reason for the gm's to get involved and teleport the orcs out. if you are red it was your choice. suffer the fate of your evil deeds. and as i seen last night the red gate pops you up randomly now so must be fixed hehehe bring the orcs back to bucs. Kill all who pop up...

They might think what they are doing is promoting activity but by blocking off these events they have deterred me on numerous times as well as killed my friend. That's two people right there. I have seen them get countless others as well. I know this isn't Trammel or any of that bs but if you have a set gate you MUST go through to participate in a non regular game mechanic, aka an event then I think you must safeguard those players ability to play without worrying about being ganked. In the normal game I think all is fair but it is just a huge setup right now for anyone red, let alone stat loss.

1: Does nobody know that invisibility spell makes you unable to be seen, even while going through gates..?
2: The teleport spell allows you to magically teleport from one location to another (i.e.: out of a player-box..)
3: Recall is not limited by heat-of-battle..

Hmm, it is an interesting problem...

On one hand being red is a choice and players enjoyed the rewards or loot of getting that title. On the other these are separate events outside of normal game play.

I guess rewards for the tourney give ingame items so it probably should be open season on players coming out of them... If that makes a choice of not being Red or not competing for trophies then atleast you have a choice.

Really... does a new player who gets explo/Flamestruke while fighting 2 harpies have any different of a choice? Either not go or take a risk for the loot.

1. Is running into a raiding party of Orcs not Activity?
2. We actually prefer to fight the ones leaving events not going to, just at times they run back to back.
3. Really?... really? You're acting like we are invulnerable.

Sorry about the stat loss. But, it's kinda expect that you'd burn shorts off. A risk is a risk thats like saying if we catch you anywhere else we shouldn't kill you cause you'd be in stat loss. Not trying to be unreasonable here and Ronk and I have agreed with the gate return spot. Course we don't call the shots or least I don't. But all else is fair imho.

I didn't to much think of the rewards. Our purpose is definately not to snatch up rewards though. It's to interact to cause chaos <---- We're orcs lol.
