Chaos guards- shield Yes, Order guards shield.. NO!?#$*??

Weirdly, same character that got a chaos shield from the chaos guards np cannot get an order shield now from Lord British's guards.. which everything I can see online says to get it from them. Even though I dont see them carrying the order shield. Same char is in an order guild now.
Is there a place with shield carrying guards that I have to visit elsewhere or is lord British's castle supposedly it? Thanks..

Any order guard should do.. There should be some near the castle. If not for sure then hopefully this thread gets that corrected.

Just answered my own question. There are no order guards at British's castle. theyre all out on the roads and bridges so the regular town guards in britishs castle just brush you off when you say anything about a shield...
My bad I assumed that since blackthornes castle is full of chaos guards that British's would be the same too. Oh yeah also the 5 or 6 things i looked up online all said British castle lol.

Oh is that what it was? Weirdly, I was thinking it might be that the guards could not parse what you were saying to them.
