Isn't the idea of a noob key kinda pointless when you can always change your locks and get a new key? Just discard your key each time, when you want in, change the locks, and move on.

a much more experienced friend than me is giving me virtually unlimited (but reasonable) access to MR, invis, tele items and vanq weps. the man told me all i need is a noob key- so i'm looking for a noob key.

Yeah, I still have one - if you'd like to buy I'll be in IRC as Will Sinker. We can use a trusted broker of your choice or a vendor. I'll gladly die with it on me to show it's newbied.

OR...you could repeatedly make noob chars with 50 tinker. Might take awhile, but damn you'd save 100k.

Sounds alot easier then it really is.
Step 1: Make Tinker
Step 2: Check bag for key
Step 3: Realize you dont have key
Step 4: Wait 7 days to delete character
There is a reason why people pay alot for these because its such a small % chance to actually get a noob key when making a tinker.

^This. I made 7 tinkers a week for about three months and only got two keys. I do have LOADS of newbied clock parts though, so not a total waste of timeKelektra wrote:.....its such a small % chance to actually get a noob key when making a tinker.
Edit - Also worth mentioning that if you have a newb key in your pack and redeed an unrelated house the key gets deleted from your pack anyway
