House Lockdowns

Having trouble finding this info. Are only Owners/Co-Owners able to lock down items in a house? I see in the post t2a some info suggesting friends of a house can lock down, and in t2a patch notes that owners/co-owners can secure items, but nowhere can I find if friends should be able to lock down.

Friends can:
-- use secure containers
-- log out inside house
-- ban
-- remove bans

Co-owners can do all of the above, plus:
-- lock things down
-- release lockdowns
-- place trash barrel
-- ax trash barrel
-- add friends
-- remove friends
-- change the house name

Owners can do all of the above, plus:
-- secure containers
-- place house addons
-- all of the house sign actions

Co-owners can also secure containers. Where was this information gathered from?

co owners cannot secure containers.

Where do you see information that tells you co owners should be able to secure containers?

I am sorry, but you are mistaken. A co-owner can secure a container. Interestingly enough, a co-owner cannot release a secure container, they can only release locked down containers. In order to make my self more clear, in T2A are friends "suppose" to be able to lock down containers.

I just tried it in game and you are correct. Co owners can secure containers, but cannot release secure containers. That's interesting.

BUG?

No it is actually set that way. I thought it was odd also but as far as I can tell it is still that way today.

What would be the purpose of that? Why would you let someone secure something, but not unsecure the same object?

No idea. I figured out I couldn't release the secure container and had to check to make sure I was right. For whatever reason they decided to keep it that way.
