The answer to that and any similar question will always be liberal arts.

When was the last time you saw an engineer "build" something that wasn't a hobby in his garage?

I would posit the most important to be the "skilled laborer".

The most important is obviously able to use firearms.

But ability to use firearms is completely separate from profession. I'm a medical type, and yet extremely proficient with a pistol.

Also, depending on the type of apocalypse, firearms may not be the way you want to go. Ammo WILL eventually run out, so you'd better be pretty good with a melee wep too.

It'd be nice if we had a few engineers who could design us some new ammo/weapons. Too bad Matron didn't elect to keep any around. I'd like to see your laborers try their hand* at designing ballistics.

*Note my purposeful singularization of the word, hand.

What screwed up definition of civilization doesn't involve ethics, history, philosophy, and art?

Those are all afterthoughts. Distant to priority 1, being survival.

Reading comprehension needs to be part of every degree plan! The premise was clearly rebuilding civilization, not to survive. In survival situations, no college degree will be useful

I'm glad nobody has turned on the legal profession yet.
