From someone who has never particiapated in an event but would like to start..

Can anyone point to a href or post about rules for the events..

What spells can/cannot be used.

Potions?

Poisoned weps?

Magic Weps?

Magic Armour?

Stealing?

Hiding/Stealth (or any other skills not useable?)

Can you be looted in any of them?

Any other rules im missing?

I didnt see any of this information in the events guide. So if it has been answered before kindly point me to where.

There is currently no detailed guide on the website for events. Once you enter the sign-up arenas (you must sign-up via an NPC gamemaster or sign-up book -- the arenas do not automatically sign you up), you will notice signs that describe all of the rules.

Generally though:
-- no looting
-- free use on consumables (sans purple pots)
-- no magic gear/poisoned weapons (these are occasionally activated, but rarely)
-- no summons, pets, mounts, etc
-- no stealing/hiding/stealthing

1v1/2v2/3v3: same as above, but no potions.

Survival: all skills/items allowed. You may use blade spirits, energy vortex, and summon animal. Unlike other events, this one is consumable (no free-use).

Magic gear is automatically converted to NPC quality.

yea survival is one that takes up resources but you get to loot the monsters you kill
only event i'm not sure about is FreeForAll i've never done one- not sure if it uses items
