UO Second Age

I just started here today and I have to say, this is bringing back so many memories. UO during this era was very special to me and I've always missed it. So here I am again, and im super pumped! Ive played UO off and on since 1997 definately a vet! Look forward to meeting some of you=-) cant wait to start pvping again!! (even thought i got some training and money making to do first )

cA already helped this guy out with free gains from my paladin all band aids and skinning knifes were stolen or looted (corpse and houses)

I agree, UOSA is dead-on with era- accuracy and has been the ONLY free-shard I have came across with what seems to be 100% legitimate staff that does not play favorites nor do special favors. My accounts are actually 490 days old but I only played for a short period of time a little over a year ago and was forced to quit due to some personal issues.

Needless to say, I am back and enjoying UO more than I have since I was 14 playing Catskills, haha. Glad to be part of the shard, won't be long until you see me in the field


PS: One thing I've noticed is as a bard EVs are important to speed things up. Problem is, when I cast one, even though I know my placement is right, they come STRAIGHT for me. Is this a bug or era-accuracy I don't remember correctly?

drop the ev behind the mob so when it comes for you it hits the mobstead and if it doesnt come for you attack it so it does and hits the mob

yea as i said i know how to place a EV. There is something wrong, try it a few times.

I never have trouble with EVs...just cast any of the tiles directly adjacent or behind (not in front) and you should be good. Sometimes I'll get the 'location blocked' but otherwise it works. Sometimes if I'm close and the target has low hp and runs off, the EV will then auto attack me. Still, the EV so powerful that the limitations in placement are not a huge concern.
