UO Second Age

I'm not sure if this is right, and I may be wrong, but why are grey animals (Bulls) attacking red players?

I didn't attack said bull(s), and I was just the victim of a bull raping.

Pretamed animals will attack reds and other evil creatures. Animals which have never been tame do not share this disposition
