It doesn't look like the regular tourmalines.

It's an alternate/reverse graphic. Unsure if they exist for all gems, but they do for several at the very least.

No clue but I have been killing gazers non stop and always get the same tourmalines.

You can find jewels at many other places.

If you have the means to find duplicates, feel free to do so. I would be interested to know where they spawn.

A picture when you find them would be even more so helpful.

You can get them from npcs that wander around. If you bought them, you were scammed.
