UO Second Age

Right, i have been reading the patches made to the server etc over the last few days and it suddenly came to me.
Once this server is "t2a accurate" and there are no more possible changes to be made, what then?
Fair enough this may be a while off yet, but the sad fact of gaming is after so long, content gets old, and repetative. Only so many times you are willing to get pked. Only so many times you would want to visit the same dungeons. There will be so many tank mages that there will be no other class. You know what i mean?
So yea, this isnt a rant or anything, i was just generally curious are there any plans for after the "t2a accuracy" is complete. or will the shard just stay as it is for ever?

We have "need to do" things to last us for several years. Not only that something new comes up practically on a daily basis. We are always continuing the process to better ourselves in the PVM area, which is the only area that can really be flexible because of the nature of events that exist with it. There are also of course further processing of PVP events, but it isn't as easy obviously.

Aye to everything Faust. We do intend to continue to add content; it's a big big world, and we are few so this will come in time. We do not intended to ever "move on to the next era".

But wouldn't it be T2A accurate to patch a whole bunch of crap into the game and ruin UO to drive us all away?

Only if we are talking about year 2000 patches

I actually wish time froze at 1999 in terms of UO. It was perfect... ;] I wish no other patches were released beyond that era but oh well here we are now enjoying ourselves on this server.

What has to happen when (and before) that occurs is that players make things happen themselves. You should think of T2A as a set of rules in which you are responsible for making new things happen. Play a new kind of character, make a guild, set new and interesting goals, don't just PvP and PvM as you always have. There should be no problem even if this shard becomes exactly as things were during the good old days.
