UO Second Age

Trying to do it in the middle of the ocean. I opened the storage, I double clicked the plank to come out and in a bunch of times and I even moved it around. Is there anything else I can do? When I click on the navigator it says the boat is fairly worn already. Thanks.

You need to have a key for the boat in your pack then D-click either plank or the tillerman to refresh.

If that's not working you have a dodgy boat.

If I leave a boat and come back with a boat key and it says the boat is locked am I screwed or is there a way to gate onto it or teleport or something?

recall on the key.

Or use the key to unlock the boat then board - D-click the key and target the boat's side where the plank pops out.

Recalling on is generally easier/safer though.

Just FYI, you can only recall on one of the two original keys. If you had a copy made, you can't recall on those, but they do everything else.

Recalling on the key did the trick. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to help me out.
