There is a difference. If someone is coming to buy some silver and the OP only wants to sell his all where as now he can buy yours in the thread you hijacked., or vice versa.

Yup, def hypocritical. They may buy from Arsen instead of original poster. Thus Arsen is a hypocrite and should either no complain when others join his threads or should not do it himself.
