Inscription - unballanced trading

Help' New to inscription and losing ingame money fast. Trying to find the hole in the bucket I checked every detail thinking I was at fault somewhere, but on inscribing Agility Scrolls I found that materials cost 5g for scroll, 5g for Blood Moss and 4g for Mandrake Root = 14g. On selling back to the vendor I was only receiving 11g per scroll, a loss of 3g. Hopefully someone can explain this discrepancy for me. :(

First of all, join the npc mage guild. Find the guildmaster in one of the mage shops and say "<npc name> join" then drop 500gp on them. You'll save 20% or something (rounded per item) -- adds up a lot for regs and blank scrolls.

Ultimately, scribing some spells are more profitable than others (see poison and flamestrike).

THanks for that advice. Reducing costs of regs will do it fine. Ta! :D

1. Copy one book to another until 50 inscription skill
2. Buy magery to 30
3. Inscribe poison scrolls at a cost of 7gp each and sell them for 14
4. ????
5. Profit
