Why "if"'s are important in macros

While taking a stroll off east britain, I stumbled upon the nice cozy tower our friends of D^D (sorry, it is now I^U) have now upgraded to. I thought for sure having been the target of so many ppl in UOSA they would have ragequit by now, so I went closer to check if the tower was IDOC yet. To my chagrin, it was relatively fresh.
However, I found the always mild mannered and well spoken Serenity (so well spoken I have her on ingore now) in some sort of trance inside. I noticed how she was taking damage constantly, surely by recieving the effects of magic. Being the helpful bunch that we are, I tried to talk to her about the perils of afk macroing magery when not done right. I even volunteered to show her the nasty consequences of an improper magery macro. Unfortunately, either she also has me on ignore, or her trance was just too deep, and didn't pay attention. I am .
