Murderers in Minoc mines

I thought there would be a lot more, considering it's where a lot of players mine. Is it because the guard zone wraps around it? The only thing is the guards are on the other side of the bridge, well out of earshot range.

guards will respond even if not within earshot. I remember SoA used to pk there a lot...or try to, they were pretty bad.
