UO Second Age

Hi all,

I think most of you know that Mens rea is nearly always online, but since some days he's *plopp* faded away such as he never lived. Does anyone knows what heppend? He is having different playstyle and how he communicates with some ppl is different too... but I really hope that he doesnt got harmed in RL!

The more important question is...does anyone care?

Is he refreshing his property?

better question... Where's his property?

Some of his property has already dropped.

His "most loved house ", his Castle, has been crashed.. I think that says enough..

I hope that nothing bad happens to him it.

But Mens Rea stood for like 55 identities on this shard. We just lost 55 players.

We need a more public way of announcing people getting banned. Can the GMs release this info on the forums somewhere with a description of why they got banned? This would serve as a long term deterrence against people cheating and scamming and a warning to new members that breaking the rules will not be tolerated.

Even if that prevents just one person from turning into a Mens Rea then its worth it if you ask me.

Also, it would be entertaining as hell.

I agree. All bans should be public and humiliating. Im talking actual server bans, not meaningless IRC bans and such. There should be a forum for this purpose. In addition, the ban could (possibly) include a listing of all of the persons characters just to further humiliate them. Strip away their ability to remain anonymous and quietly vanish from their ban. And publicly show that cheating/etc has consequences.

On a side note, I also believe banned players should have their houses and possessions deleted. Goods gained from cheating should just decay and fall for everyone else to pick up. The only reason I could see against this is if the person is found innocent at some point...

Duno but the trade forums seemed to have instantly cleaned up in his absence

I am guessing it had something to do with his auto gating trap on top of moongates and server events. I could be wrong though. The first time lelouche did it on the server events gate I remember Nevermore or Kaivan warning him that was in bad taste on IRC......how you interpret that is up to you.

I have also heard stories of him going a bit overboard with player harassment.

On that note, ive seen no confirmation that he has been banned. Just people on the forums saying he was or asking how he was.
