well there is another thread selling unblessed 901s and the current bid is 200k, a cbd is 200kish too so ~400k+

If you can verify that these are prepatch blessed then they are worth no less than a castle deed.

If they were blessed before Christmas last year, they are "grandfathered". You can prove it to someone by letting them bash a character wearing them with a mace for several hours and proving they will not ever break.

If they are not grandfathered, they are not worth quite as much - more like the 400k I posted.

only way to find out is put them on a toon who is otherwise naked, and beat him with another character with a mace weapon equipped - let it run for 12 hours. If they last they are pre-patch. If then go poof, you are out 400k.

yea if u know from what date they were blessed then do the dmg test and sell em as g/f but if your asking someone to "take the risk" then it seems to be they wouldnt be selling as grandfathered.

Yeah testing them is too risky IMHO......sell em for 400k'ish and let the buyer decide if he wants to test them. If you destroy them you are out 400k!

Depending on how he got them he may not have paid a dime for these.

Determining whether they are prepatched or not means he will either earn 400k or over a million.

If he didn't spend anything to get them then I really see no point in not testing them.

yah if it was a gift or a free drop liek guerrila does with his blessed sandals then fuck it and test it and thats another 600k value u can add on. However if u want to be safe just stick around tower deed price and ull be alright.
