ok so iv seen some ppl quick loot very fastindeed, am i missing a trick here or somthing? like some way with razor to make it open an take the loot instantly, i.e THE GOLD!. i know with razor u can auto open corpses from so many toles away, i get that but am i missing somthing else about how to take the gold?

I think there is a one-second action delay that no 3rd-party program could get around. I assume one could bump up against it though, and pull out items every second on the dot.

With Razor's auto-open, a sophisticated player will know about where on his screen the corpse will open; it's easy to pick up the gold very quickly, and once you've done that, you can take your sweet time moving it to your backpack.

There are def some razor scripts (Which are very lame) used to loot. I know the URKs have been pvping before and someone will die and a person will run to the corpse and, it seems, almost instantly grab the weapon and other key items. Now, mind you, our corpses often times have many stacks of badnages, food, alcohol, resources...they are a cluttered mess. So im very confident he had some sort of loot tool/script.

I find it a really a shame because all of this scripting and razor macros really go against what T2A was. Too much automation, not enough people playing the game.

Ugh, really? Razor? Wow. I can't even think of a way to do that. I suppose there's no way to beat someone's timing in that case, at least for the first item in the corpse that their script targets.

Still, I remember getting into manual looting fights with folks, and it was easy to beat them with quickness and a little game theory.

I have been called a "ninja looter" by some. My trick: Shift+click+drag gold and any other stackable item. For other types of looting (ie. looting most kinds of elementals and for IDOCs) scavanger agent is your friend.

As far as scripting looting from corpses in razor, I'm not sure it's possible. Is it possible to do with (unauthorized?) 3rd party programs? I believe so.

I guess im not sure it was razor, it could be third party. I just didn't wanna accuse anyone of using third party programs and derail the thread.

And yeah, back in the day I was considered a ninja looter too. When trammel came out, our pirate guild moved to trammel and we'd roam the shame dungeon and as soon as an ele died id nab the gold (with mouse click and drag) before other people....who knows, maybe our guilds hte reason that eles ended up getting 'bodies'.

Yeah, I don't think anyone's doing macros for it, but I could be wrong.
The Shift+Click to drag entire piles is key to grabbing loot quickly, combined with auto-open corpses within 2 tiles.
Also of note, holding Shift while you double-click a corpse opens every corpse within reach.

also if you are in a looting war keep track of where the next corpse is going to open on your screen so you can already be there with your mouse when auto corpse pops it up for you

I have a tough time looting stuff before others, also. Its because my ping is so high and there's is so low. If you have a high ping, they will beat you everytime. Could there be something else going on? Yeah, but I know Ping will cause these issues, also.

AssistUO is definitely what my pk used. i was at 340/390 with all my regents scattered and a bunch of stuff in my bag.. wood stuff wool everything was stolen except a pair of sandals. within 3 seconds of killing me then he recalled away. i did some research and AssistUO has "AutoLoot" option. there is no way in Heaven/Hell/Space&Time that anyone can loot that fast normally. Dead....WalkedUpToMe+2second+RecallTime.... Total Hax.. he even took a kryss that had no magic or anything.

An Corp + you lying = bad post
