may it be tracking?
everyone seems mad about it.
i have had it on my thief for 3 weeks now.total usefull:to be found.i only steal in dungeons and in the wild.in dungeons i yet have to found the famous "tamer hidden for a pee".one time i have found an afk guy with a qstaf and a recall scroll on him.in the wild if u see a gate and a "like new" house you know there is some movement,you can just wait or reveal,wich is what u do anyways with tracking.sure u can scan the entire world with tracking but it will take forever,and the time spent is definetly not worth the occasional afk miner.
i know 3 weeks arent much,and perhaps i havent tried the grateness of this skill yet.
has it got any concrete use in the job of a theef,beside hoping for the afk tamer?im thinking on go full med or add a combination of med/resist.

if you are pking, you can gate in track and out if no one is near, just mark ur rune 4 screens away from the hot spot ur going into. Also it is useful if you are fighting someone and they hide. BOOM u know where they b

You're doing it wrong. Especially if you're stealing in the field. Ask Malice how useful tracking is on a thief...he'll tell you.

I have 70 med, 30 track and I use it all the time. I'm not telling you all the tricks of the trade, but I will tell you I've never once used it to scrounge around for afkers.

I have it on my red poison dexer pk. Absolutely crucial especially because I don't waste time finding pray, and since I don't have any magery, I can get out if I see too many people or recognizable pvp names all in the same direction.

good point,even with magery it is always better to avoid a gank.
so tracking can provide some kind of defensive use.as for founding prey:the hot sposts are those few.ll,aw,eg,be,few more.in a few recalls,if u dont find anyone in one spot,you will find in the other.

Malikat suffers from an exceptionally large epeen and can't control himself.

Tracking is by no means over rated. It's a great tool for specific play styles, and is also helpful even if you aren't up to anything shady.

Sounds like you were somehow under the impression that it is some kind of "this way to phat loot" skill, which it is not.

Camping is not overrated. I play my GM Camper frequently, and he is quite the threat
