UO Second Age

Hey everyone,

I've only used EV's a couple times so far and I have a question:

Once the EV's are done killing the monster, I try to dispel them and they, many times, resist the first couple dispels. I'm actually casting dispel. Is the preferred method something else? Dispel Field (like for getting rid of a gate)? Mass dispel?

Any advice is appreciated.

Dispel is the best. What you can do is paralyze it, so you have more time to dispel. Alternatively (what I personally prefer) you can cast an explosion on a mob that has somewhere around 4-8% life left, and start casting your dispel. By the time tour explosion hits (killing the mob, hopefully) you will have dispel ready to target the EV.
