I took no reward from him, told him I didn't want one, and had no motivation to look other than to be helpful. I lost a ship once awhile ago in a similar fashion, so I know what it's like. I never found the durn thing.
The Llama took me by complete surprise actually. I've never had a Purple Llama EV before, so it made me pause and laugh.
