Those are normally stocked in the New Windmere Tinker/Carpentry vendor.

And is there a Detect Hidden Training house either open to the public or someone willing to take payment for someone to use?

Maehix, contact Cattie or Xev tonight. They should be able to hook you up with a place to GM DH. If for some reason they are not on, try going to the back room in Minoc's bank. Won't be as fast, but should get the job done.
