i dont think it was like that in T2A except HAVEN also

that only works when casting on blues... thats to prevent some grifers to kill new players inside town...

can you gain resist in town now that this is changed?

off course... casting on urself does regular dmg... only do 1 dmg to other blues not to urself.

i trained at yew moongate earlier and you only damage yourself by 1 with spells..

just tested and its regular dmg when u cast on urself...

The damage uses a notoriety check, so it does not effect attacking criminals, guilds warfare, or yourself.

There was only one spell damage in town during the entire era of T2A. There are enough ways to kill people in down without people synching explosions on new players.

There was no Haven in T2A, all of Trammel was opened on the release of UO:R. At that time the spell damages may have changed in what they then began to call felucca.

The resist calculation is not effected by the town damage. You should gain resist normally in town.

most of had some bad luck on gains then, i only tested it for a briefly for a few minutes
